Activated Carbon Blankets

Applications:

Activated carbon blankets are suitable for the adsorption of gases and odors from cigarette smoke, grease, solvents in painting facilities, chemical gases such as chlorine in paper and pulp industries, among other substances.

Each case will require a specific type of activated carbon, therefore, always consult the technical department.

The lifespan of activated carbon depends on the type and quantity of compounds being adsorbed. A low air velocity is recommended for best results.

Pre-filtration is recommended to extend the lifespan.

  • High efficiency in odor retention (50% to 80%)
  • Double-sided with activated carbon, enhancing filtration
  • Lightweight and easy to install in modular structures and systems
  • Easy replacement, no special tools required
  • Compatible with G4 pre-filters, extending service life
  • Significant reduction of volatile organic compounds (VOCs)

Material with immediate availability.

  • It is highly recommended to use in conjunction with pre-filters (G4 class) to avoid premature carbon saturation.
  • The adsorption potential of carbon is limited: once saturated, it must be replaced.
  • Small carbon particles may be released during handling — this is normal and does not compromise technical performance.
